For the last 25 months Hezekiah has been serving as Executive Director, largely as a volunteer. In 2015, Hezekiah received approximately $22 thousand in compensation/stipend. It has been noted at several times that this situation was unsustainable.
Today the Board is asked to finalize an interim agreement to cover the months of September, October, November, December and January that is consistent with previous contract negotiations, with a salary $6 thousand per month. A draft budget will be presented and finalized in January with a longer term contract to cover 2017.
Approve expenditure of $6k per month for Executive Director salary, beginning in September and running through January. Payment will be on the 15th of each month.
