On Monday, May 16 the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors will vote on an Urgency Ordinance Amending Chapter 9.31 of Title 9 of the Mendocino County Code Entitled, Medical Marijuana Cultivation Regulation.
The last several months have been marked by a determined effort on the part of several stakeholders with leadership from Supervisors Mcowen and Woodhouse. This effort has resulted in significant progress. Common ground is far greater than disagreement at this point. While the proposed urgency falls far short of a long term solution may function as a valuable stopgap measure as stakeholders continue to work on a permanent ordinance, which is expect to take 6 to 9 months.
Wear your farmer green and come show support for critical amendments!
